I liked the uniqueness of the California eggs Benedict, especially the sriracha hollandaise! Unlike some of the other reviews, I didn’t have to wait long for my meal, and service was very friendly. Thankfully, the restaurant was nice and warm, even though it was only four degrees outside.

The service was genuine and so nice, and the restaurant was very clean. Food was fantastic, from the homemade breads made on site to the waffles and chicken! The restaurant is close to the subway line so you can hear it go by. We figured it was real Chicago experience. Thanks Kanela’s, you guys were perfect Sunday morning breakfast spot.

This place was SO good. Everything. From the coffees- I got the iced chai tea latte. My group got the mocha lattes. The strawberry blood orange juice is so refreshing. The service is great. It got pretty loud at one point bc of the group behind us. I do kinda wish management would’ve stepped in to let them know this is a breakfast spot not Waffle House at 2am. But it was great. Loved visiting Chicago and this will definitely be a return for me!

I had a fantastic brunch at Kanela’s this weekend. Though it was busy, the service was excellent. My server Alex was quick to get me my drinks and order. The food came out piping hot and was delicious. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid brunch in west town.

This was my first time visiting. The restaurant is actually bigger than it looks on the outside. I liked the decor, the service and the food was delicious and exactly how I asked for them to prepare it. My server Alex or Alexa (sorry I can't remember her exact name) but she was very nice, polite, welcoming and just overall wonderful. I'll definitely be back soon (Ask for Alex she's extremely pleasant)

Food was great! Came out super fast, very welcoming. Great bathrooms too, so much toilet paper. Our server Nicole was fantastic as well. Got to watch sick vids of people doing scooter tricks on the tv! Had a wonderful time, will be back soon!

First time dining there! From the moment I sat down , received my food and the service ... all I can say it was amazing! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a great place to have brunch and drinks! Leslie was my server and she was amazing! Thank you everyone for making me feel so welcomed! I will be back again with many more to join

Gluten Free Salads here and the potatoes are roasted. I’m allergic to eggs and Gluten so there was not much in the way of breakfast food that I could eat however my salad was hearty and delicious. I also had some amazing fresh strawberry OJ
